Kolkata newspapers published the news that Sushma Asur would be speaking for Mahishasur and Asuras from East Kolkata Sarbajaneen Durgotsab and Sushama has to inaugruate the puja.Bengali,Hindi and English media published the news quoting Sushama whereas Bengal Police has stopped Mahishasur Utsav in north 24 parganas.Mahishasur Utsav is being celebrated in more than seven hundred palaces in Bengal.For years Mahishasur Utsav is being celebrated in Kolkata and Howrah also.But no news.It has discredited mainstream journalism yet again which is doing everything in the best interest of the NRI Fascist Brahaminical Ruling class provoking hindutva.
I personally could not imagine such false news should be published in mainstream corporate media and though perhaps it would be an opportunity to connect the masses for a democratic discourse on Mahishasur and Ravan which would perhaps end Mahishasur Vadh and Ravan vadh genocide culture of Apartheid agaisnt Dalits,Adivasi and Bahujan Samaj.I am stunned to read the statement issued by Sushama Asur which proves that she was quoted while she did not speak to media and the organizer belongs to Salt Lake not to Fool Bagan East Kolkata Sarbajannen Durgotsav Samiti.It suggegsts rather a deeper conspiracy involving the patriotic media!Shame!
